2004-- 中国科学院 2004年“百人计划”获得者，恢复生态学课题组组长。首席研究员，博士生导师。
2002.3--2002.7 在加州大学（University of California）, Davis 分校线虫系作博士后和项目科学家。
2000.1--2002.3 在加州大学（University of California), Santa Cruz分校环境研究系土壤生态室作博士后。
1996.9--1999.12 在佐治亚大学生态研究所(Institute of Ecology, University of Georgia, USA) 攻读博士学位。主攻生态学，研究方向为生态系统生态学和土壤生物学。
1995.10-1996.8 在中国科学院华南植物研究所生态室，助理研究员，研究方向为土壤微生物生态学。
1994.10--1995.9 在美国国际热带林业研究所（International Institute of Tropical Forestry）作访问学者。研究方向为恢复生态学。
