马克平 研究员, 博士生导师，男，1958年11月生于黑龙江省，汉族。
中国科学院植物研究所所长，中国植物学会副理事长，国际生物多样性计划（DIVERSITAS ）中国委员会秘书长，中国科学院生物多样性委员会副主任兼秘书长，中国人与生物圈国家委员会委员，中华人民共和国濒危物种科学委员会委员，国家林业局国家级自然保护区评审委员会委员，《生物多样性》主编（ 2008- ）、《植物生态学报》主编（ 1998-2008 ）， Forest Ecology and Management 杂志编委， Environmental Science and Pollution Research 杂志编委，《生态学报》常务编委，《自然资源学报》编委，《生态学杂志》编委、《干旱区研究》编委，《地球科学进展》编委, 《应用与环境生物学报》编委, 《农村生态环境学报》编委、《环境科学研究》编委、《中国科技资源导刊》编委。作为中国政府代表团的科学顾问, 参加了第一届、第四届、第六届、第七届、第八届和第九届联合国《生物多样性公约》缔约方大会。主持的重大项目 / 课题多项，近年来在积极推动生物标本数字化及其共享平台的建设、全国生物物种编目、森林生物多样性监测网络建设和森林生物多样性与生态系统功能研究平台建立等项目。已发表学术论著 180 多篇（部）。
